With the introduction of Apple’s OS called “Mavericks” (aka OSX 10.9) the way the Operating System handles the titles of ‘tabs’ has changed.  In the screenshot below version 1.34 is being run under the new Mavericks operating system (version 10.9) and the tab for ‘Racer Registration’ has been selected.  As you select each of the various tabs the title for that tab will get blanked out and the other tabs will display normally.

So far, this is the only problem that has been discovered with the Pinewood Master 1.34 program when it is being run under the Mavericks operating system.  All other screens function the same as they have under previous operating systems.  The glitch shown above does not appear under Snow Leopard, Lion, or Mountain Lion.

Pinewood Master 1.35 and later has solved this problem.

Therefore, if your computer is still running Snow Leopard (10.6.x), Lion (10.7.x), or Mountain Lion (10.8.x) Pinewood Master 1.34 will show the tabs normally.

Except for the “blank tab” issue, there is NO FUNCTIONAL DIFFERENCE between version 1.34 and version 1.35 and Pinewood Master 1.35 works just as well under Snow Leopard, Lion, and Mountain Lion.

If you are running Mavericks (OSX 10.9) or Yosemite (OSX 10.10) you will want to get Pinewood Master 1.38.  Besides being compatible with Mavericks and Yosemite, it also has a fully implemented serial interface that lets it communicate with a "Fast Track" timer system.  I don't know yet if it will communicate with other timer systems because I don't have access to the others for testing. But if you want to give it a try with your timer I would gladly welcome news about whether it will work with other timers.
